Name: Daphne Sophia Greengrass
Birthday: December 13, age 25
House: Slytherin
Daphne Greengrass never thought we was destined for great things. For most of her live she was happy riding the coat tails of her pureblood status and fortune. That was, of course, until she met Terry Boot. He turned her entire world upside down and made her realize that she wanted more for herself. She stood up to her family against dating a non-Slytherin boy and turned away from her family when they asked her to take the Mark. However, Daphne's grandmother Eleanor, with whom she had always been close, was impressed with her courage and determination. She had never been a supporter of The Dark Lord or the way Daphne's father chose to endanger their family by being so closely associated with him. She took Daphne in, allowing her access to her large inheritance and the properties she owned.
After graduated, when the war ended, Daphne took an even larger step back from her family. She took up an internship with a family friend, Anne-Loure Lavive, planning events. Daphne fell into it instantly and easily. Throughout her life she had always had a flair for hosting and planning. It was refreshing to spend time out of England and let the dust settle while finding herself. At time it was difficult, keeping up with Terry while both their careers started to form and grow. But the two worked through it, always making time for each other.
With her vast knowledge and contact, Daphne helped the company grow and flourish - while still learning a great deal along the way. She felt empowered in a way she had never known before. And just last year, Anne-Loure, felt it was just the right time to expand her business into London, England. There was no question, after so many years, that Daphne was the perfect match to take on this new branch. She settled in quickly, finding an idea location for both her office and her downtown flat.
Now, being back in London full time, Daphne is more determined than ever to make a name for herself. However, she's realizing it might be time to settle her differences with her family. While she's kept in touch with Astoria, there's always been a strain on their relationship. There's no way she's going to let a family feud stand in the way of her return to London Pureblood High Society, or the connections she can make there.
