Utopia Review/Reaction

I finished watching Doctor Who - Utopia.

Jack saying hello to Martha and Martha saying she doesn't mind cracked me up.

Okay, I would be a lot angrier if I were Jack.

I love the Doctor and all, but am I the only one who thinks he's a little hypocritical when he tells Jack to put his gun down? I mean after what he did to the Family, I don't really think he's one to talk.

Jack being snippy with the Doctor when the Doctor says that he's his responsibility is made of win.

Okay, that guy Jack started flirting with was hot.

"A hand in a jar!" "That's my hand!" "Is this a tradition amongst your people?"

Yay for the Jack and Doctor conversation! Jack's list cracked me up. And yay for Captain Jack not being depressed and suicidal anymore! Although, he does angst so well. I still don't think Jack being immortal was a good reason for the Doctor to leave him behind though. I can't help thinking that the writers should have given him a better reason than that.

The whole explanation with the watch about how the Master was able to survive was interesting. I know some people thought the watch thingy was cliched, but I liked it.

The Master turned hot!

Overall, I thought this was a pretty good episode! It didn't exactly live up to my expectations, but I still really enjoyed it.

I really wanted an Ianto or at least a Torchwood mention. *pouts* Maybe they'll mention that Jack works for Torchwood in the next episode?
