The past competitions wherein a Filipino (or someone with Filipino lineage) joined have all produced runner-ups for our country. Shamcey, Jessica, and Manny all fought well and managed to smile through their losses. It makes me proud to see how calmly they accepted the results and how they started looking forward from then on.
