Right now I am rather proud of my class schedule. This semester I should complete my Asian Studies Certificate (if the people I need to talk to ever respond...), next semester I'll finish my Japanese Minor, and leave 3 Philosophy credits along with either 9 or 12 SIS credits (I need to meet with my advisor), which should mainly be 200s anyway. This will not only make sure I go through with both majors (there will be no reason not to), but also give me a semester easy enough to get an internship - perhaps one that could expand into a job. Granted, I need to take 19 credits for it to work...though if I am at 12 to finish SIS, maybe I'll drop something and do a 16 credit followed by a 15...that would be pretty uncharacteristic, though. I totally would like to do another elective, or have an easy semester if possible.
Anyway, I am also a bit proud of the set-up of my courses as well - everything fits between either 11:20am - 2:00pm or 5:30 - 8:00pm, in 4 blocks and 2 standard. Just missing my 1 credit Japanese course...though maybe Sensei will let me do it next fall, instead. I kind of am still adamant about wanting to translate Hiratsuka Raicho's autobiography, though I am not sure if I'm both good enough at Japanese and familiar enough with the people and history of the time for that to work out. I really have no diea what we're supposed to do for the course, anyway, and I'm not sure Sensei has anything in mind either. I just hope it's more than "Hey, study some kanji or something and then let me quiz you on it once a week!" Although useful (we really do not do anything in the courses now, so I guess I couldn't complain...), it's too standard and dull to do things that way. Honestly, I'm still a little upset she wouldn't let me do 7 credits of independent study.
In anycase, schedule:

In other news: MRI's for the elbow suck, and my job interview at Best Buy went rather well despite my MRI making me 30 minutes late. I have a "dry personality" that I "need to work on," but my role play was "impressive," "outstanding," and "not terrible" (all statements from the same guy). The other two interviewers seemed pretty satisfied with all my answers, one nodding at half the things I said, the other grinning or chuckling a few times. Just have another interview, then we'll see. Though, considering all my papers are due soon, and next semester will be so tough, and that I want to do CLS this summer, and that I will probably want a more major-relevant job next fall...I am starting to question why I am doing this.
Oh right, I am poor. Hahaha, it is really funny because it has basically become provably true! Also, Carl if you are reading, having this job could negatively effect our tennis days so I will let you know what happens.
