001 → In which the journey begins.
Since I cannot finish my sonata yet and Elizaveta is busy in the kitchen--ah, the galley, I have decided to utilize this online journal to post my thoughts for the time being. However, because this is my first entry, I believe that an introduction is rather necessary.
My human name is Roderich Edelstein, but you may refer to me as Austria if it's easiest for you. And yes, before I go any further and anyone decides to question the validity of that last statement, I really am the nation of Austria.
Currently, I am traveling solely with my wife, Elizaveta, on our small ship as "pirates," I suppose. Thus far, our journey abroad has been pleasant and relaxing compared to our troubles in our home countries. I hope that our time at sea will continue to be a enjoyable experience, and I will continue to chronicle our daily adventures at sea in this journal.
