The Calamity happened in 1837 (before Yae moved into Himuro Mansion) and the Repentance probably in 1875, and if Sae was fifteen at the time, that would make her and Yae's birthdates in 1860, and we're guessing she was about forty-five when she hanged herself, which puts her death in 1905, a good eighty-one years before Miku wanders into Himuro Mansion and eighty-three before Mio and Mayu and All God's Village. AAHH I KNOW TOO MUCH

* He is a sweet foolish boy with a big nose who was completely in love with his brother and is now SO SAD. I really like him, but I think he's a bit of an idiot.

* Itsuki/Mutsuki, again the only option. They loved each other so much that the ritual didn't wooooork

* Itsuki/Mio! For the reasons listed above. And also Itsuki/Yae for how good friends they seemed to be, and Itsuki/Sae for the same reasons - especially with how focused Mayu was on getting to him to apologize. So him/everyone, basically.

* The fact that his window hadn't been opened in years is one of the scariest things in the game. That's probably a pretty unpopular opinion!

* I wish Mayu/Sae had managed to get to him and there'd been a moment there, so he could have faded away more fulfilled, you know? Had that closure, I guess.

Because there's this wallpaper of them hanging out but he never really talks about her ever and it's her that looks back at him when they're escaping, so I figured Sae->Itsuki, Itsuki->Yae, Yae->Ryozo, because she was ~immediately interested~ when he showed up with Makabe, and they did, y'know, end up getting hitched. But obviously Yae/Sae and Itsuki/Mutsuki overrides all of that. THEY LOVED EACH OTHER TOO MUCH~~
