weekends
I've been busy-busy on Saturdays lately. Two weeks ago some friends and I went to Tatou, a nightclub in LA, to watch the SickStep dance group perform. It was a fun night. We went because kirari and I have been taking dance classes from SickStep performers. Afterward, we went to eat at Garden.
Last Saturday, I went shooting with some friends at a range off of the 91. The prices were decent and they had a good selection of rentals. I had not gone shooting in 2.5 years, and it was good to do it again. I need to go more often. We had Italian for dinner. Roommate and I then split off and joined some other friends for a night at a lounge. We were expecting a quietish night talking, but the Air Conditioned Lounge in Santa Monica is anything but quiet. It was more of a mini night club than a lounge. I guess lack of clearly delineated dance floor makes it a "lounge."
This weekend, I've swapped the Sunday with a coworker. I'm heading out to Vegas to celebrate a friend's birthday. I don't know what's planned for the weekend, but it should be fun. I just have to figure out what to pack.
Doing fun stuff on my days off is cool. I enjoy being with my friends, but I hope sometime soon I'll get a quiet day or two to do some stuff around the house.
