first day of con for me, it was ok I suppose. we're way behind on being fully set up, but did business anyway. the marriott gaslamp is pretty swanky, but room is spendy. I'm paying through the nose. went to kansas city bbq, a cheapy bbq place that was in the Top Gun movie. looks like I'll be spending lots and lots of money this weekend, just not for myself, but for others cuz I feel guilty. oh wells. maybe I'll explain at another time. an excuse to break in my milage card I suppose. gotta be at con site at 7 a.m. tomorrow. kinda sucks. will consider coming back as a regular attendee in the future, because working sucks.
