Break finally begins! Hope it's no Abyss.
I am DONE with my final project for school this trimester... break can finally begin!!!
Also, it has come to my attention that two people have become excited by the idea that I might be coming, or already have come, out of the closet. Your comments on my last post can lead me to no other inference. While I respect your homosexual tendencies and assure you I will treat you just as I always have, I must disappoint you - that is not, and never has been, my news.
My news is actually that I'm happily dating a girl I met at school this year... it's been over a month now. I was a little worried because, aside from expecting a grilling in a general way about my first girlfriend in like (yikes) 2.5 years, she is not Jewish, and I didn't know how well that would go over. My parents are generally very chill and supportive, but I really thought they might give me a hard time about this. Shows what I know... for the short term, which is the only term I care about right now, everybody seems fine with it. So YAY! That has been going well and I expect to see her over break and have it continue to go well :).
In other news... I get to have free time to creatively assign now, finally. I'm going to reinstate regular gym visits for starters, and I'm waiting to hear back from one of my cousins about a job (or I was told I could probably get some mall work if I need to). Aside from getting a job, I also want to spend a lot of time planning to get a job... that is to say, working on my resume and researching companies and individuals who do technical writing and/or other fields I'm interested in (the jobhunt will begin in earnest in January). Also next Friday = party at Wesleyan and next next Saturday = party at Tufts, and I fully intend to start bowling and playing poker again if I can (and I'm pretty sure I can) fit it in. Also going to bars. I think I'll try and add that onto my list of things that I do. We'll see about that.
Last post was Friday, and this weekend was kinda quiet. I went out to Lexington Saturday night but aside from that I've been on a double date with my couch and my CS project all weekend. CS is done tho, so no more of that. Also, I've been 22 for around an hour. Woooo. For some reason I started getting happy birthday wall posts on fb two full days ago (I think the minifeed spread the misinformation after one person did it, he thinks to himself vindictively ;)) I was amused, confused, and flattered, all at the same time.
Ok. Time to enter The Abyss unarmed and hope to come out unscathed for the third straight year...
