busy... house...
Friday (whilst at the festival) we found out we exchanged on our house. We are extremely relieved, but now have a lot of work ahead of us. At least we can get moving on it now. Not being able to commit to anything has been the worst part. We had the kitchen designed while there happened to be a sale on, and I got a very good deal on appliances from an online retailer who had some clearance items, but these things don't wait. I've now ordered the appliances and am just waiting for the official quote on the kitchen to come in writing so we can pay for that. We're almost there on the floors as well. Now have to get estimates on the boiler, plumbing, electrics etc. Whew.
On top of that, our diary is full for the next several weekends. Going to Paris, having our neice and godson over, friends' bbqs and the like.
And work is busy.
All this is good though. Feels like a backed-up pipe has just been unclogged. Home, work, and friends... need to move all this forward!
Oh, and I've decided on the HTC Desire for when my contract is up in two weeks. Clearing my plate, pea by pea!
