I may have gotten out and walked Piper early once this week.  Having trouble remembering, but yes, I think I did it before going in to work late (since I was going to be staying late) on Tuesday.  Tomorrow I will endeavor to do the same.  That means waking up at 5:45 to get it done, but I am committed.  I also have new shoes that need breaking in ( Read more... )

Last night was the first in a while that I slept in the office to tend to the kids if need be.  They were kind to me.  Paige had a pacifier-pacifying small fit around 9:15pm and then I didn't hear a peep until 4:30am.  Very reasonable, children, and appreciated.

Past time for posting.

The kids continue to develop into tiny less-helpless people.  Both can sit somewhat unattended and not immediately fall over.  Not a lot of control if they do begin to tip, but a pretty good start.  They are also eating three meals a day of solid foodstuffs.  Still packing away the formula too.  The new found mobility calls ( Read more... )

We have, for the past two nights, had a sort of routine that is favorable to me.  This is because it involves me getting about 7 hours of sleep in a row.  This is predicated on me going to sleep between 7 and 8 and getting up around 2 or 3 to attend a feeding with Carrie, then her going to sleep and mom and I taking the last one before mom heads ( Read more... )

Looks like the problem with the roof may have been my fault after all. I left a (broken, I thought) CleanMachine in the cooler when I started it up in the spring, with the intention to remove it at a later date.
