Work's busy as all get out as we're shorthanded this week due to trainings and juries. Having about burned my eyeballs out of my head at the work computer, I decided to take a break and look instead at a screen that contains things I'm interested in.
Piper's been a pain lately when it comes to eating properly. Seems to be more in the mornings, but she has been increasingly finicky about her food. This after it took her an entire year to get used to her new diabetic food plan. Or so we thought.
Dog walking, and then going back out for another two miles, in 20-mph gusts is no fun. But then, with gusts supposed to get up to 50 today, I'm glad I got it done. All in all I'm doing much better with exercise this year. But the windy season is just starting, so we'll see how that goes.
Both burrito quest and gaming got postponed/cancelled yesterday. The burrito is the second to the last off the specialty menu, and Carrie has said she'll join us for it, since the ingredients appeal to her. In D&D news, I'm getting more and more jazzed to run Heftymetals again. Part of this is because I've been listening to
olde_fortran's recordings of his Burning Boston game.
I've been reading some of Marvel's Dark Reign storyline. It's not too shabby. But much like Secret Invasion, I'm staying away from a lot of the extra stuff and concentrating only on Dark Avengers and New Avengers. If there's anything else from that event worth reading, let me know.
