whuff
Been a long/busy couple of days.
On Sunday I apparently had about a liter more beer than I realized, at least. This did not make for a happy Monday. I was hungover to the bajeezus, which is never good to be on vacation. To top it off that was the day Carrie and I had put aside to hang out just the two of us. Yeah. Don't think I'll be living down me being nauseous and hotel room ridden for the whole day whilst my lovely wife wandered Seattle by her lonesome. Sorry, again, baby.
Got back in to town yesterday and went out to eat with Jon. Then discovered that my truck wouldn't start. So today we took it in to have the starter replaced (for the second time in a year, it turns out), test drove some cars (including a nice little Rav4), ate lunch at Nellie's (who was recently downgraded by the NM Department of Health, but delicious nonetheless), went back to get the truck and got a new lawnmower to boot (a rotary push mower for our tiny yard, thank you very much), then back home to settle up with the guys who just finished elastomeric-ing our roof (it's very bright up there now with the white-ness), then settled in and had a nice chat with my brother in the back yard (also, with beers).
Tomorrow is back to work.
