Still Employed
The weekend felt productive, although in reality this may have just been when compared to other weekends. I repaired the garage door after the bit that connects it to the automatic opener came loose (luckily after we had pulled out of the garage), replaced the door knob(lever) on the door to the garage, and we shoveled rock out of the area we want to brick into a patio. On the social side of things there was wookies shoots both Thursday and Saturday, we went out with Alex on Friday (eating at My Brother's Place and drinking very large mugs of 1554 at Dublin's), and then attended a "Congrats on Getting a Job" party for Honorable Bill.
Oh, and I found out at work today that four of the eight positions like mine are not being renewed on our new contract. Good thing: I keep my job. Bad thing: Some folks I like may get the axe.
