Alrighty, so the back to back tweet posts were definitely not intentional. I had wanted to update between them (either Thursday night or last night), but between Smurfinator being a jackass and not getting home last night until right before the planned Twitter ep commentary of Evolution 1/2, I didn't get around to it. I fail, i know. *snirk*
Didn't get to post the pics of my jersey (or take pics of my new room look) b/c of Smurfinator's attitude Thursday night. Well, not attitude, but he was on Madre's laptop until 1 in the damn morning (and he has his OWN computer to use, mind you). So all I got to do when he was done was check Twitter, Hotmail, and catch up on the flist before going to bed.
So after sharing a laptop with two other people for a week, I've decided I NEED to get Lord Danny fixed ASAP. I'm hoping tomorrow Madre will be willing to take me to Best Buy so I can check out hard drive. Will be using the saved fund money to pay for one, but there's nothing I can do about that. I don't like not having my own laptop, especially when I'm going back to school in two months (I know that seems like a lot of time, but when you consider I also have to save MORE money for Chicago, right now it's practically looming upon the horizon!).
In GOOD laptop news, however, James (as in my head manager here at Hebert's) is REALLY good with computers and said he would install the hard drive FREE OF CHARGE for me once I pick up one that's compatible and have my windows disk. *phew* That definitely lifts some weight off my shoulders (I've been seriously stressing since Lord Danny went belly up!).
Fic news: Got a little bit of 'She's Everything' worked on while i've been in here today. Have stalled again, but I'm hoping the brabbits will come back to me before my box time is up. I've been battling off other ideas so I can get working on the series stories when I finish 'She's Everything' (it's SO CLOSE to being done!)
Vid news: Still trying to decide on a song to vid. I'm thinking humorous might not be in the cards this year. MAYBE, though. I have been considering vidding Rock Star or Radar to make it upbeat and fun. I could always just send in one of my Vala vids (Circus, maybe?)...but I want it to be teamyish, you know? *sigh* Such a conundrum, trying to figure out this whole thing!
If anyone would like to look me up on facebook, I've made 'dannysgirlsg1' my nickname over there (are we shocked?). Just thought I'd give a heads up!
9 Days until we go on Vacay! YAAAAAY!!! I cannot wait to go to FL. I wanna go to the beach so damn bad!
Yeah, the Red Wings lost last night. Pens took the cup. No big deal, really. Didn't really care who won, to be honest. Nothing big invested in it! But I can't believe the season is over already. I've been watching nothing but playoffs since March! So it'll be a bit weird to be able to go back to watching Family Guy at night again. LOL!
Okie donkie, that's it for now. I'm gonna try and find that perfect song, even if it drives me wonko!
