Need = Love. I think that pretty much says it all.
So I know all of you are on the edge of your seat, DYING to know about Lord Danny's status (b/c EVERYONE comments on all these lovely personal updates I make...). And the news is both bad and good, on varying levels. The bad is it is hard drive owies - the BIG owie. Hard drive's dead. D-E-D, dead. Good news is all the stuff on said dead hard drive can be retrieved. Bad news is it's gonna cost mucho dineros to get that taken care of. Good news is it's not TOO expensive to get Lord Danny a brand new brain in the mean time, and I may be able to get it installed for a lot cheaper than what the Geek Squad man was telling me.
The biggest hassle is paying for the new hard drive. This means I'll have to wait at least a few weeks until I can start SAVING for it (b/c I refuse to budge on getting Burn Notice S.2 - I've been waiting FOUR months for it's release!), and then there's the trouble of actually getting it installed. So I'll be hijacking Madre's comp for a short while...Gonna wait until AFTER we get back from Florida, then I'll handle Lord Danny and his brain damage. All I know is the problem HAS to be rectified by the time I go back to school because...umm, I kinda need my laptop to be a good college student!
DUDE, random breakthrough - According to the Twitterwebz, there's rumors going around that Michael is hinting on facebook (??) that he is about to start shooting an ep of Sanctuary! Highly speculative at this point (and skeptical too...I believe it when we get a kind of confirm from Lexa...), but just figured I give the heads up!
Talked to Madre tonight about being able to use her comp to make vids (told her I wouldn't put the ripping/clipping stuff on her comp - that I would just stick to the clips I already have), and she said she'd think about it. So the whole business with what vid to send to Creation for Chicago is put on hold until I get a definite answer from her. I'd really LOVE to make a new one, but I refuse to not send something if I can't.
It's amazing how in a week, my room can be messy again (and by messy, I mean my kind of messy - not stuff everywhere or any such stuff like that, but enough chaos and stuff on the floor that it bothers me!). Off tomorrow, so I'll be working on that (AND possibly doing a little bit of wall redecoration...I've gotz new SG-1 pics to put up *and possibly one of the posters I got from the shop*).
I had a random thought the other night (as opposed to the ALWAYS LOGICAL thoughts I have every OTHER night! *snirk*). Okay, I have two different comforters that I use regularly (or...well...yeah, it'll make sense in a minute). One here at home (the green one), and another for school (the brown one). The green one I've had for years...you can kinda tell b/c all the patterns have worn off and it's a bit...not flat, but isn't as plumpy anymore. I loves it to pieces. For as old as it is and as flimsy as it looks, it does it job like hella good! I hate leaving it behind when I go to school (and yet REFUSE to take it to school with me - weird, but y'all already know this about me!). I always feel my school one won't do the same for me that the home one does and it makes me sad. But then I GET to school and start using the brown one on a daily basis, and I love it all over again. It's plumpy (but not overly so) and soft and nice. Does it's job JUST as well as the home one. And when I come home (for breaks or summer), I think how horrible it is that I won't be using the school one for an extended period of time. I'm having a love affair with two comforters, and I just find it very interesting.
(And THIS is the part where you all wonder again WHY the hell you friended me! XP)
Alrighty, that's it for tonight. I'll try and make sure I think up interesting (or completely insane) things to post about every night!
