Anywho, just realized I needed to post before we had another back-to-back twitter post mishap. This happened the other night, and you guys should know by now I hate that! This journal is NOT just a dropoff for my tweets for the day. I do like to POST too!
Don't really have much to post about...
- The auction is still going...have to wait two more agonizing days.
- Didn't do much of anything today. There was talk of going to the movies, but Madre's back was bothering her so that didn't happen. Not tha it was TOO big of a deal - they wanted to go this evening, which means I would've missed the second reshowing of 'Living Out Loud.'
- So didn't miss that - watched it in all it's glory. Madre even watched it with me. She cried more than I did (though of course I was still crying). And of course it was our usual 'giggle fit' time, so during the commercials we kept cracking up at the most stupidest shit. *sigh* I love being home and spending time with my mama!
- Started the Burn Notice novel last night...only a handful of pages in and I'm loving it already. The voices are SPOT ON. And now with it coming back in a few weeks, I'm definitely gonna get this novel knocked out quick.
- So do you ever work on a fic, and as you're writing it all you can think is 'wow, this is such crap!' Then you go back and read it over again few days later and think 'maybe this isn't as bad as I thought...' Yeah, totally feeling that right now over the fic I finished yesterday. Of course I never think my stuff is perfect and I always wonder what everyone will like or won't, but I actually like this little fic. I liked the idea a lot. Anywho, as soon as i get it back from being beta'd, it'll be posted.
Alrighty, that's it for tonight. I'm on a debate over working on more fic, or reading more of the novel...*ponders*

P.S. - RED WINGS BEAT THE FUCKING BLACKHAWKS TODAY! (Can we guess who I'm hoping makes it to the cup now? Like I'd pick the Blackhawks! PFFT - they lost me a quarter...which wasn't mine to begin with...which I got back anyways...which will be used for what it would've been used for had I'd actually WON it...but none of that is neither here nor there!)
