True genius, I tell you.

So I hd planned to post today after I'd gotten a few more things done, but then I realized I need to post sooner b/c I have a few PSAs...

PSA 1: Michael's 'Highlander' episode is on today at usual SG-1 time on Skifficans (6 PM EST). Perfect opportunity for those of us that don't have it in any form yet to tape it. I have seen it before, of course. But figured ya'll would like a heads up.

PSA 2: The ER series finale is tonight (I'm not sure many of you actually watch ER regularly) at 8 PM EST on NBC- and it's TWO HOURS long. PRETTY MUCH EVERYONE who was a prominent character on the show will be in it (from the previews, I have seen Carter, Weaver, Lewis, Hathoway, Greene, and Benton). This is a big deal for anyone who's had any interest in the show because THIS IS IT - there will be no more! I'm very excited, but know i'm probably gonna be crying the whole time....can't believe it's really ending tonight! *sniff* EDIT: The finale starts at 9 PM - at 8, they have a special on ER showing.

And now we can move onto to less PSA-y things...

Took care of all my registration stops since I can register for classes tomorrow. The insurance one was easy. It's the damn cable bills that were a pain (gee, reminiscent of last spring semester much?)... because OF COURSE I get BOTH January and February's bills abou two weeks before I register and they're already past their 'due date'. So I HAVE to pay them before I can register (hence the stop). Which means my already low fundage became about $98 less. And I still have 4 weeks to go. As much as I hate to think about it, I'll probably have to dip into my Teche account and then maybe even into the fund for dineros to survive on until I get home. I'm just hoping certain THINGS don't become available for another few months.

So you know on Saturday how I said it had rained for three days straight? Well, Sunday and Monday ended up being rather nice. But come Tuesday evening, and it started to rain like nobody's business! And it hasn't stopped. Hasn't even gotten better...it just gets progressively shittier with each passing day. It doesn't make for a good mood.

Madre's surgery went well yesterday. *phew* The doc only worked on her for about 35 mins. (it was just an outpatient surgery) and said the chances are good that she won't need a second surgery. She has to keep it wrapped in the ace bandage until tomorrow, when Smurfinator can clean it and rewrap it. And the doc told her to start using it for walking again. She should be pretty well recovered by the time I go home for summer, which is a VERY good thing b/c I seriously was not looking forward to having to help her my whole summer break if she as gonna need the second surgery. Don't get me wrong - I would have without question. But it wouldn't have made for a very relaxing summer.

Alrighty, I'll stop here. There are other things I want to post about, but they can wait until later.
