Jem: Truly Outrageous!
Man, it's been way too long since I've posted in my LJ. I tolde myself I wouldn't post again until I wrote another fic. It was supposed to be an incentive to get me through the writer's block. And, well, yeah. :-(
Anyway, I've decided, what the heck. I'll just post whatever I feel like and let the fic come in its own time.
So, continuing with my 80s cartoon theme song obsession, I wanted to give Jem some love.
For those not in the know, Jem was a cartoon about a famous female rock band (who also ran an orphanage, because that always happens), and their many trials and tribulations. Much like Hannah Montana, the lead singer had a double-identity. So she had a normal life as a normal, non-famous woman, and then she had the rock star life. Unfortunately, she had a boyfriend, who also liked Jem, and "cheated on her" with Jem all of the time. But we weren't supposed to get mad about him being a big cheater because they were the same woman, even though he didn't know that. No, we were supposed to feel bad for him for not being able to choose between the two women he loved, angst he wouldn't have to be going through if his girlfriend would just tell him the truth...
Anyway, this is another 80s cartoon theme song I love. Enjoy.
