BIG FAT HOORAY FOR IOWA!!!
I awoke this morning to the news that equal marriage has been attained in IOWA!!! I've never been so proud to be able to call myself a one-time Iowan. There are Day of Decision parties happening all over the state, including on the Pentacrest in Iowa City. I want to give so many Iowa people hugs right now: John Watkins, John Cameron, Meredith Alexander (I BET SHE AND KIM WILL GET MARRIED NOW!!!), Andy, Cassie, Dustin, Jess Jensen, even Santo for crying out loud! SO WONDERFUL!!! I hope the CA judges are paying attention. And Vermont, too! What a great day for civil rights!
