Is it 3:30 yet?

See, this is what happens when you don’t give me anything to do. I just ramble in my LJ all day.

What an extremely long day at the office. I am pleased that even though I forgot to bring lunch, we ended up have pizza and salad that Shannon’s mother-in-law brought for us. She had to do an interview with Shannon for her/our/my Oral Communication class, so I taped it and ate pizza and enjoyed myself. Other than that, life has been BORING today.

List of things that must get done before hitting up the IC tomorrow:
1. LAUNDRY
2. Packing (which can only come after laundry)
3. Figuring out where the hell David Cox lives. I mean, he gave me the address, but I still need to understand exactly what that address means.
4. Getting a haircut! I know I’ve mentioned this several times now, but I am so ready for a hair change. I was looking at Timberland and Tallgrass photos, and I soooooo want my short hair back. And yes, I know that it’s extremely impractical professionally to have short hair, and so of course I wouldn’t actually do it. Let the record show, though, that I really, really, really want to. Maybe a cut to the shoulder will satisfy me. As long as it’s a little edgy/rock and roll/lesbian-ish, I should be ok.
5. Calling/emailing/facebook-ing all the people I want to make plans with this weekend. Danielle Borden (now Danielle Borden Wilbanks… weird!) already got a hold of me, and I think I’ll be seeing her sometime on Saturday. But I still haven’t tracked down Cynthia, and it would be really nice to see John Kaufmann, too. And Ethan, but I don’t have his phone number. I’m staying with David, so that’s not an issue. Bah, I don’t know. Lot’s of calling and typing yet to do.
6. Finish all weekend homework! I have to post one discussion board paragraph for Detective Fiction, do a “self” analysis of the interview Cheryl did today, whatever is due in that Rhetoric class, and then double check to make sure that every little thing that could possibly need to be done is done. I don’t want to be surprised with missing deadlines that I didn’t know existed.
7. Work out, work out, work out. I am so antsy after sitting in this office all day. I can’t wait to get home and sweat.
8. Deposit check from ITP. Did I mention I got $75 for Johnny A. Cannon II: Johnny Descending? Because it came about two days ago, and I completely forgot I was supposed to get paid for that job. So that was sweet. And I’ll have Iowa City money, which is also a plus.

I think that might be everything. And it’s plenty, so I hope that’s all there is. If I get everything I want done, I’m going to go out and do something tonight. I like being out of the apartment at night. It reminds me how lucky I am to be an adult living in the city
