This is the best turnaround ever!
How can things be going so well here? HOW?! I love it!
Another wonderful St. Louis day. After spending most of the morning and afternoon helping Casey try to get employed, we just lounged about happily in our apartment, avoiding the nasty heatwave that has engulfed the city. I've been watching Casey play Fire Emblem on the Wii, and I'm a little ashamed to say how much it entertains me. I've become totally invested in his fictional army of characters to the point that watching him play this game is like watching a dramatic television show or something. Funness.
Eventually we hauled ourselves out into the world to pick up a few missing items and a whole lot of yummy groceries. Casey and I both had issues with picking up headshots from our Wal-Mart, so we vowed to avoid that place at all costs in the future. Then we came home and had a delicious Bertoli dinner of farfalle pasta in a creamy tomato and vodka sauce, heaping salads, and fresh sourdough bread. Then we just sat around, watched Never Back Down (bad movie with great action sequences), ate ice cream, signed up for Netflix, and generally relaxed ourselves all night. I haven't been able to enjoy relaxing for a long time, but it's getting easier lately. I like that.

MOVE HERE! I miss you to pieces! Seattle will be much too rainy. Plus, there will be much more cuddling possible here in St. Louis.
