Sorry there haven't been too many updates lately. My Fotolog seems to get a lot of my rambling lately, if only because I talk about my fiber adventures there and, well, that's a lot of what's been going on lately.

Second of all, new yarn is SQUISHY. I suddenly understand all the Malabrigo squee.

KNITTING!
It's getting to be that time again. Also, have I mentioned I'm on the train for two hours a day and am also planning at least two long car/bus rides in the next two months?
This means KNITTING!
I want to try something different, so I'm going to be doing a shawl because I have sock yarn and no desire to make socks and so, I will start making ( Read more... ) -

- Not really sick anymore. Just a bit of a cough.
- Working on a hat. Hat sort of looks like algae but I like it. More on this later.
- Am about halfway done with my holiday shopping. Got most of the immediate family to go yet, but the ones I was worried about are just about done.
- Need to sleep more.

Things I did today
- Discovered a way to do passable fried rice using a microwave vegetable steamer. ^_^ What one does when they're a little late making lunch for her bento box.
- Got to work and discuss Paul Revere with a coworker. He likes the guy, whereas I can't stand him. It's this weird historical grudge I have, exacerbated by the fact that people ALWAYS say ( Read more... )
