A fun weekend
This weekend was pretty fun. I went to Minneapolis on Saturday to see Shawn, I haven't seen him since January! When I got there we went to KFC and then to the Mall of America for a little while. After that it was back to his place and his friend Anna brought over Scary Movie 4, it's a pretty good movie.
Anna is a pretty cool girl and super fun. We had a blast with Shawn...well and making fun of Shawn, I won't lie it was the one of the highlights of the night :-)
After the movie we went to First Avenue bar to see Down and Above. It took a little longer than expected to get there...so it's a good thing we left early. Let's just say somebody, I won't mention any names, *cough Shawn cough*, got a little lost and we drove around is a couple circles and I got to see the Target Center for the first time ever...like five times. But it was fun, it just gave Anna and I some more amo to tease Shawn with ;-)
We watched a couple other bands before them too, however Down and Above was the best one there. I like their music. After the concert it was back to Shawn's to watch Billy Madison and then time for bed. I was the only one to stay up for the whole movie, but we were watching it because I was the only one who has never seen it.
Then, this morning we woke up and Shawn and I went to Perkins, Anna left earlier in the morning. After Perkins it was time for me to go home. I had a fun weekend and it was great to see Shawn and meet Anna. He may regret letting Anna and I hang out together with him, but I'm pretty sure it was one of the funnest nights of his life :-)
