Summer 2006
So my summer is officially coming to an end. I'm not going back to school, I'm taking the semester off to work (some of you know why) and I start work on Friday. So far I have two jobs lined up and I know I can work at one more place whenever I want...but I don't really want to go back there, so I picked up an application elsewhere.
Anyways, I had one of the best summers ever. As you probably all know I was down in Florida for most of the summer working at Disney World...I saved lives! :-) Yes, I was a lifeguard at Typhoon Lagoon and I absolutely loved it. I'm sure it helped that I liked pretty much everyone I worked with they're all pretty cool. And my roommates over the summer were pretty cool for the most part. I made some great friends and miss all of them. Of course there are a few special ones I miss more (they know who they are) ;-)
I had a great time in Florida. I got to go to the amusement parks whenever...for FREE! I went to Busch Gardens for the first time ever and Sea World (for the first time since I was like 9 or 10) those were two great days. I totally miss pretty much everything about Florida. The only thing that I wanted to do but didn't get to do was go to Universal 'cause I haven't been there since I was 9 or 10. Other than that it was an absolutely terrific summer that I didn't want to end and honestly I kinda didn't want to come home. The main reason I wanted to come home was to see my family, I missed my little sister a ton, and it's been nice seeing my family and friends (those I've gotten to see...don't worry I'm making the rounds).
Well, I suppose that's enough about my summer. Long story short I had a great time and miss it. Oh and I can't wait to see somebody (you know who you are) so no packing up your stuff and going back (to you know where)!
