Fellin' Lucky?...Not Really
Dad and I went to the Anchorman premiere last night...and that was pretty good when we first got there. We were right next to the bar where the stars check into the premiere...and then the security made us leave (after we had been standing there for an hour) only 30 minutes before the premiere started because they claimed it was a fire hazard for us to be there...they said to move across the street where all the other people were (to cause a fire hazard on the other side of the road I guess).
Dad and I decided to leave the premiere after we realized that there was no way we would be able to see any of the stars and trust me we tried moving to many locations to try and get a few decent pics but all of them had images that got in the way (from cars to buildings)...pooh to those bad security men for making us move.
Oh, and during the day I got a phone call from the agency (that I am signed with) that hires people to do extra work in movies. They asked me if I would be able to work on the 6th and 9th of this month...and then they asked me how long ago it was that I last worked on a movie. I told the man about 2 years and he told me that the people doing the casting wanting only people that had worked on films and tv shows in the last year but that if anything else came up that I would be good for that he would call me back and let me know. And that was it. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh- what a pain! I didn't even get a chance to find out what I might have been able to be an extra in.
Guess the summer luck is starting to dwindle...
