Cause for Alarm

Fry's is running a nice special on sodas...but 4 12 packs for $10 and get one free. But all the stores were mostly out of code reds. I got some regular mountain dews but it's not really the same...but it's better than Cola, I guess.
Oh well.
Today we overslept for the first time in a long time. William is usually really good about setting the alarm and getting up. Except for when he does things like turn it off, go back to sleep, and forget about it. Unfortunately he slept late (on purpose) yesterday and wasn't tired in time to go to bed. He got back up so he wouldn't get insomnia from being in bed and not tired...and we both thought he'd set the alarm. But at 9:20 I woke up and it penetrated the haze of sleep that "this is important" so I woke him up and we got ready.
We were really late for church.
They had cake afterwards though, so that made me happy. I like cake.
Otherwise today has been a good lazy day and I mostly relaxed and tested (watched) my new DVDs.
Tomorrow I think we're going to go get coconut shrimp and watch the fireworks by the lake. More fun! This is turning out to be an okay 3-day vacation (famous last words these sound like.)
The blood donation place is also going to send me a nice mug for being a good vein-barer and donating three times in a year. Go me! I already got a nifty tote...maybe after the next set I'll get the matching hat. Eventually I can collect all the cheap gruesome blood donor gear.
