No one ever told me adjusting would be the hardest thing to do. I feel like no place will ever be home. I suppose that is the most crushing thing ever. There are some who have it worse and all I can do is complain. Nothing feels right anymore, and if it does -- it's only a rerun of what used to be good.

My heart says "settle." My mind says "no."
