but i want to talk about computer first.
Did some windows updating, leaving out the SP2, since I thought it may be causing the problems in mass install. Am not getting disc read errors any longer. However! I am now being told that \System32\ntoskrnl.exe is missing or corrupt.
I've replaced the file in two locations, from three seperate sources. Still no luck. I have in my posession a Windows PE (Prenstallation Environment) CD, in which i can boot to a fake OS from said CD. is nice, but takes forever to load.
Using PE to diagnose problems, but cannot initiate rollback unless i'm in the OS i intend to rollback..... why is windows so damn retarded?
