Just a pointless post to tell everyone that I'm alive and kicking, and that I had a fantastic Valentine's Day with Sebastian. We didn't do anything in particular- just some roaming and eating (I've recently tried cupcakes for the very first time in my life at a bakery near my Mom's, and I've already passed on my addiction to him, lol:P), but idk, ( Read more... )

Aww :) This proves that it does not need much. A little gesture can make your Valentine's day! I'm glad you had such a good day :)
Meeting interesting and friendly people at work is awesome. Last summer, I had a very pleasant chat with a customer at the bookshop I work during summer. At the end of the conversation he handed me his card, turned out he was a consul.
Good luck studying!!

I love these kind of details! For instance, a few weeks ago I was talking to a friend of mine who was to celebrate his 3rd anniversary with his girlfriend, and didn't know what to do. I asked him if he'd ever bought her flowers, and he said no, so I replied "for God's sake, what are you waiting for?!". He thought that was too poor, but then again, flowers never let down anyone, more on the contrary!
Awesome anecdote! I'd love to work on a bookshop:D

That's exactly what I mean :) One does not necessarily need something big and fancy. Revisiting a common memory or a little gesture like a flower can mean so much more!
I love chatting to people in the bookshop :) Unfortunately, it being in Luxembourg there are often very arrogant people..

More than one! But I am honestly too tired to tell them now :) And speaking ill of other people is thought to generate bad karma (what a very Buddhist thought of me) and is better avoided :D
