1) Today I had the Argentine Art partial, main reason why I haven't been updating. Was REALLY nervous (more than usual, which is difficult to top!) because the lecturer is quite demanding, but I hope think everything went just fine:)
2) On Monday Sebastian and I celebrated year and 7 months together...studying! Thanks to my procrastination, I spent the afternoon at his house, typing a writing I had to hand in the following day and freaking out because:
a)I had underestimated the job.
b) Microsoft Word decided he didn't want to work¬¬
c) The printing machine decided to support Microsoft Word and joined the strike¬¬ (it did print in the end, but with blueish ink:P)
At last, we did had some time to have dinner out, and we went to San Miguel to have some meat with bacon, onion and fries (Sebastian) and some sorrentinos (me, because I was feeling sick due to nervousness + a stomachache that lasted the whole weekend, which btw was a long one:P).
3)On Sunday we (i.e. Sebastian, my Mom and I) saw The Danton Case. I've got to say the acting was very good (the guy who played Robespierre was excellent, and the one who played Desmoulins was hilarious!) the scenography was spectacular (very cyberpunk-like) and I loved the music choice (they played a modern version of Children of the Revolution which was very cool!) BUT it was too long! The ending was never ending(what a paradox, lol)! I do suspect I felt that partly because of the theater itself (which used to be and old fabric, and it's not conditioned to be a theater at all!)- it was impossible to breathe, and the rows weren't stepped (not sure about this term), which made it hard to read the subtitles and pay attention to the actors at the same time. Unfortunately, next Sunday I'll be seeing another Polish play, and guess what?Same theater!¬¬
4) My Mom sent an email to my XVIIIth and XIXth century Art lecturer (whom My Mom knows because she gives Art history courses at the Fine Arts Museum as well) asking her for some information on guided tours in English at the Museum, and in her replied my lecturer told her she thinks I'm brilliant! Which is like the biggest compliment I've ever received, especially because I've always admired that lecturer and was one of my reasons to study at this college, I admire her so much! So yup, I'm having my self-esteem high up again, lol.
5) I've been offered to baby-sit a 7 year old kid and accepted, as I could use some extra money. We'll see when they call me, but apparently he's easy-going and I won't have any trouble:D
6) I prepared a coffee cake on Sunday and it was delicious! Okey, I did one of those "instant cakes" and added instant coffee to the mix, but still, it was delicious!:P
