The font is Candara Bold because I couldn't get GIMP to load Glassblocks or Unbutton typefaces. I wanted that "3D text as part of the scenery" effect but only got a "magazine cover title" effect 😑

After, uh, a decade and a half? I finally changed this community's banner, in no small part due to the 2017 Photobucket implosion (How Photobucket Broke the Internet and Why You Should Care). The original owner of this community naturally wouldn't pay Photobucket's $400 ransom to continue hosting fandom pix which previously had been of no charge. ( Read more... )

You might have noticed a few changes to daniel_vala !

1. Thanks to shakespherical , daniel_vala  now has a Paid Account.
2. Switched from the ancient S1 LiveJournal style to the S2 system, mainly to improve Search Engine Optimization & give us sidebar text, links & tags (which I will be re-organizing).
