While Waiting for the Shower...

Sitting here in some sweats, because the clothes I had on I burned. They smelled like evil, and that odor never truly comes out. And as a gentleman, I decided to let Emma have the shower first although between me and the walls I wanted to offer to help. I know, bad Daniel. Sadly that thought made me think of the dream a few days ago, and hence why ( Read more... )

actually, the problem wasn't that Ruth was asked to help the cabal. Its that Ruth was told that it was pretty much the only thing she could do.

Maybe Dana and i are the only ones who feel that way, but it really felt to me as if i were suddenly being ordered around by someone who has no right to order me around. she brought up the "part time" thing herself. to be perfectly honest, from Ruth's viewpoint, all she has seen is a group that is wild and pretty irresponsible trying to take on a task that properly belongs to MASTERS, not Adepts. while she agrees with the goal and is willing to help, even to the point of death - there are only two people who can order her to that. one is herself. guess on the other? she was asked to join a cabal, and her status as a member was laid out in ways that pleased everyone... except for the fact that not a single person in the original cabal except Rusty even showed respect for her beliefs and powers. so while she feels obligated to "save the world" and "protect innocents" (like emma, if you were wondering) she feels no obligation to stand up and salute.

this is not liz trying to start a fight, but liz making a statement. if you like, Daniel and Ruth can have a conversation about this ;)

xoxoxo!

with Ruth often enough, this is how the character feels, and sees things. Me personally I just want this very tense and unpleasant business over with because it just makes game feel ooky. But we'll solve it one way or the other on Wednesday.

not disagreeing. tense and ooky it is. a lot of it is because of the suddeness of the demands and the fact that they seemed to be full of "extreme prejudice". not helped by the rest of the tension about the demon, the tenth sphere, the shooting of anarax, etc.

i have actually thought about bringing in a different character, "sent by ruth", but i'm not sure.
