My life while new and often confusing...is never boring.
So Rusty took me out and let my drive the 'Hot Mach' and it would be a lie to say I didn't totally get off on it. So we cruised around town getting a feel for the car, and then he let engage super pursuit mode and it totally rawked! It was mad mad fun. But anyway, then Else whispered in my ear and i nearly wrecked, once I got control again she asked us to meet up so we could discuss business. So I told her we'd meet up with her and pointed the car towards campus, because I remembered I needed to talk to Annorax. Rusty dropped me off and I went in found our VA and asked him to help me get documentation, transcripts, birth certificates, drivers license, social security number, and the like so I could enroll in college next quarter. In retrospect he could probably get my admissions stuff sped on through but I think I would rather have some of it done on my own.
So then this cutey comes up and starts talking to Annorax, Else I and were taking and Else tells me she's had a vision about Emma, thats the cutey's name by the way. So then we adjorn to Annorax's office all of us, which was great by the by, I love feeling like I'm part of something. So Rabbi Ruth was with Else and apparently they're planning some sort of huge 'help the homeless' thing, maybe they can help me with the homeless kids in the tenement building that 'Green' was looking after. Long story...but anyway while we're discussing stuff, Rabbi Ruth stepped outside to have a cigarette, when these squid people showed up, I recognized the name off some purely scientific knowledge I seem to possess but nothing else. Apparently we've all fought them before, well not the Rabbi and Emma and I have no memory of it, big surprise there.
Reflex was to summon a gun, and I have to admit to pulling some machoness and getting Emma to stay behind me like I'm some kind of hero or something. Yeah yeah...me and John Wayne. Have I mentioned I love televison and movies? They're awesome! So anyway we all go out to meet these squid possessed people who one of by the by has eaten the bartenders face. When I get an idea, seeing that they're possession seems to be some kind of disease or virus, it dawned on me if I could try to localize or contain it I could maybe stop them without violence. Unfortunately when I tried to localize it in his arm the pressure caused it to blow off, boy did I have guilt. So then some of them get shot and some of them get healed, Else went after the first one healed. Rabbi Ruth and Emma tried to save the bartender and I stopped the bleeding on the man who's arm I accidently blew off. Then I noticed that even without the virus, there were changes made to his life pattern, and it was damnedest thing I'd seen so far. But with Rabbi Ruth's help we fixed him and then fixed his arm. And then after I put my foot in my mouth with Else, I disposed of the bodies of the dead with a little to no paradox, see can be avoided with a little forethought.
Wong and Else were able to ascertain that these five were sent to find and kill us specificly, squid men assassins is just not a good thing. So lets check 'kill Mobius cabal count'...Ninja mages, Time/Entropy Mages, Squid Men assassins and how can I almost forget Vampires. Its just not boring I tell you. So then Wong got a call from his bird that is a phone that someone was waiting for him at his theatre, Else suggested we all go together. Rusty let me drive the 'Hot Mach' again. YES! And I convinced Emma to ride with me and Rusty and to get Rusty to ride in the back seat so I could be pimpin. Now I'm still fuzzy on the concept of pimpin...but Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre make it sound cool. So I took the 'Hot Mach' around and showed it off for Emma swung by Mobius to show her the house but didn't have time, finished up a lap around the city and was 30 seconds late. I only know because Else made sure I was aware of it, yeah yeah we get it, Time is your bitch.;) Wong spoke with his Akashic Brutha, I mean brother and we all stood around and I continued to mack on Emma.
Afterwards we decided to head back to Mobius, where I gave Emma the nickle-dime tour. She dug the library and the forest and of course Else's old room with the fountain. She seemed impressed and maybe just a little overwhelmed, once we finished the tour we re-joined the others and Pax had joined them and was imparting prophecies and apparently Emma is important to them. Not good for her I suspect, especially given the vision Else had. But that was my day...oh did I mention I slipped in the notion of a trip to the 'What-Not' with Emma? She wants to see the Fae, and since I know some of them, it was perfect and I went for it. But then why shouldn't I? We both love to read, and we both have absolutely no clue that whats going on most of the time. Hey thats more of a connection than one might believe, but its not like I really think I've got a shot. But its fun to try and she seems very nice.
Oh on another front, apparently aside from massive amounts of knowledge regarding vampires I possess, I apparently know the vampire that they need to talk to. Now I don't remember that of course, but it couldn't hurt to try and besides be cool to meet a vampire that was not trying to kill us, at least right off the bat. So another day in Terminus and huge fun. Oh so the squid attack helped me hugely, the Rabbi and my fixing the actual alterations to the squid man's pattern has given me a step towards my next step in life magicks...now if I can make it apply I should be able to expand my knowledge and reach that which 'Green' never could. I have much reading to do and then I must start experimentation...but who and how? Oh with decisions like these to make my life is never boring thats for sure.
