I want you to seriously think about this question...
how different do you think our lives would be without the internet?...without livejournal, without myspace, no facebook, no emails, no AIM. It seems so long ago, but there was a day, once upon a time, when no one had access to any of these things and the world kept on moving along just fine. We've all grown up with this ever increasing technology and I think we've grown so addicted to it we don't ever really think about how we could deal without it.
I'll start...I think for one thing, without livejournal I most likely would have had a better year at quinnipiac and probably would still be enrolled there right now. Without LJ I think even our friendships would be a little different (a little less to talk about anyways...a little less drama in the past) Without facebook and myspace I wouldnt have "met" a lot of people at my school before actually meeting them (but is that a bad thing?) without either of those things it would be harder for us all to keep tabs on each other (stalking?) Without AIM i'd sit in front of the computer a lot less. I would probably not keep in touch with a lot of people that I talk to randomly sometimes through IM and a lot of online fights may have been avoided due to the lack of comprehension of the persons tone when saying things.
