This is from earlier today, when it was a tropical 4 degrees. The cats were all snuggly warm inside because we have heat pumps, and were nagging to go out. So I opened the front door...

I swear I must've vacuumed up a litter of kittens tonight.

The cats are the same colour as the carpet, and their fur is evidently very good at looking like it belongs in the carpet.

The chicken leg is growing its fur back nicely. She went in for a check up tonight and Vetman was really pleased with how her knee feels so yay! Said she'll get arthritis in that joint though. Boo. Also said she's on crate duty for another week. Double boo.

Two weeks ago Zari was all of a sudden not using her back left leg. She's an inside cat, so couldn't have fallen out of a tree or caught it in a fence, and we never heard any crashes so NO idea how she did it. Anyway, we took her to the vet and she put her on metacam for a week and told us to see how she is after 10 days ( Read more... )
