Did the novice dude (i.e. the only character in this mess of a drama I like other than the main) just get gang-raped in ep 2? Gratuitously in a sequence that wasn't addressed again? I was not planning to check out Ooku Tanjou, the period jdrama currently airing. The number of jdramas I've watched in the last couple of years could be counted on the fingers of one hand. have just started ep 1 and, surprisingly (because wacky is a major hit-or-miss for me), I like it. I don't know if I'll be OK with wacky for 16 eps, because in order to stick with a drama I need heart and emotional investment and I don't know if this will have it; but for now, it's entertaining.
