I am not a comics person at all so can't say whether her addition would be annoying to someone who loves the comics but her character made sense in the movie, though I suppose they could have named her anything else. She makes MJ jealous and shows the rift in the ship (organic one) really well. And she does dangle off things :D
heh...actually, i'm not much of a spiderman fan(very few of the big superheroes interest me because they're always too busy being iconic...the only real exception is wonder woman when she's handled well) I just hate when a spawned medium sacrifices it's canon to be sure to include a piece of comics canon...in this casre, movie MJ is a fusion of comics gwen and mj and they told gwen's relevant plotlines with mj in the first movie, making her irrelevant in movie canon in anything but a "look! gwen!" capacity.
did u hear about a scene they cut of them kinda kissing *more likely giving cpr but it looked like kissing* and i was like whoa they cut that??? apparently sam raimi was trying to be artsy since it was during brokeback... not sure if its true but hoping it is...
and i loved spidey 3... and worth not sleeping for but i don't know if its better than the first but i liked it a little more than the second one??? hmmm i might need to see it again to make sure
My fave fandom writer ever, hackthis, had a spur of Harry/Peter slash post-Spiderman 2. Link action!
They were mostly Harry-centric from what I recall and oh-so-deliciously angsty. (She used to also write the slash pairing I recall you enjoying, Smallville's Clark/Lex, though that was ages ago so I don't know how good that fic was.)
I wanna see this movie! I know not to expect anything brilliant but still, it's a must see.
I loved Harry in this one, maybe because he actually got to seem like a nice guy for a bit and you could see why MJ and Peter liked him to begin with. Under all the angst and issues, Harry IS a nice guy who eventually does the right thing in the end.
