If Buffy was an anime, then Blood + would be it.
Don't believe me? Blood + centers around the story of a seemingly ordinary high school girl, Otonashi Saya. Saya is happily living a normal life with her family, but troublingly, she cannot remember her life before a year ago.
But all is not as it seems. Saya's normal life is shattered when she is attacked by a chiroptera (an immortal being that drinks human blood. Vampire, anyone?) There are these monsters out there and she is the only one who can defeat them.
And then there is the hunky, mysterious Haji, who is seemingly always around and protects her. But is he really human? Is Saya?

Anyway, I just got this and it's awesome and dark and pretty.
And I am already a huge Haji/Saya shipper.
