Snow Queen ep 14. Stop killing me!
Fuuuuuuck.
I am crying so hard I had to stop the DVD.
I just finished epsiode 14 of Snow Queen.
Nononononono.
She can't die. She can't. She has just started to live and I also can't bear what this would do to Tae-Woong. He just started feeling again: being a normal young man.
The thing that kills me is that he is learning that yes, it's OK to want to things, to do thinks just because it appeals to you. When he thanks her for teaching him to dream again...
FUCK.
Except for the very ending of this ep though, this is total sweetness.
Her father kicks her out of the house if she insists on seeing TW. And I love that TW finds her a place to stay (with Seung-Ri). And they decide to pursue their relationship no matter what and decide they will eventually win her father over.
No matter what.

I love the scene where TW comes to meet Bo Ra's father and asks for permission to date his daughter. And when father is all 'I'll take her back if you leave her, can you do that for her?' I love how TW's response is only 'I am sorry.' (I hate te Bolly thing where lovers will give up their love to please parents). And the thing he is notdefiant or rude or anything but he is so unswerving. And after that he regularly comes and tells father how Bo Ra is in case he's worried, not hoping to be accepted or anything.
And I love how Bo ra actually gets a part-time job (and she is good at it) and she enjoys actually doing something.
And OMG TW/Bo Ra is the cutest thing ever once they are secure in their love. They just fit. I love how he can be teasing with her. You never see his sense of humor much but it gets brought out with her.
So what are the shippy scenes that made me die of glee?
1. He brings Bo ra for dinner with his mother. And everyone is a little nervous and she is done with the meal and refuses second helpings and TW mentions his Mom likes people who eat a lot and Bo Ra stretches out her bowl and immediately asks for seconds and he ginds and Mom says "I'll like you even if you don't eat seconds' and then TW is out of the room and Mom thanks Bo Ra for loving TW (I can just tell she is so happy her messed-up, sweet boy has finally found happiness) and TW overhears.
2. They are walking on the street and she is a little cold so he takes her hand and puts it in his pocket. And they walk and grin.
3. They are riding a bus and they are holding hands and her head is on his shoulder and they are relaxed.
4. The way she loves to watch him, all a little possessive and very caring. I am especially thinking of the scene where she comes into his room as he is studying and he is so absrobed he doesn't even notice her and she starts sketching him. And then he finally notices her and he is so delighted and is all 'you should have told me you were here' and she won't show him her drawing so he snatches it and he is tall so she can't snatch it back and he sees she was drawing him and then all of a sudden he just buries her in this bear hug and she is so delighted.
5. The scene in the library when he studies and she messages him and he messages her back and is grinning. And she finally comes in and sees him buried in work. And then he stretches and sees she is right there, head on the table, watching him. And he looks adorably flustered and in love and asks her how long she's been there and she takes out her cell and says '1:38' and he puts his head next to hers. And asks her if she ate and she says no. So he asks 'do you want to go out?' and she goes 'no, study' and they are both so tender and adorable and are piking each other in the cheek with a finger (it's hard to explain but it's adorable) and he goes back to studying but he tells her 'stop looking at me like that, I can't concentrate' :P
6. They are at the supermarket and she is pestering him for grapes and he is all 'too expensive' and then he gets her noodle soup and feeds her and the salesperson is all 'your husband is so sweet' and they are all blushy.
7. When he finds out she has a parttime job and flips because he is worried about her working and she tells him she doesn't want to live in his shadow after living for so long in the shadow of her father. And he apologizes and holds her and it's awesome. It's romantic and sweet and perfect.
8. He takes her out for a date to the ski resort though no one can ski. And he drags her around on a sled and she tries to drag him but can't because he's too heave :P And they watch a family play and he mentions kids...*dies* And they go in a sky lift and there is teasing about kissing that is adorable. And they get to the hotel room and their friends prepared candles/wine/the works and left a note for a hot night :D And she starts teasing as if she is taking off her clothes and he is totally terrified and it's adorable and she breaks out in a fit of giggles and starts to imitate him. Heeee. And he is so flustered and boyish and adorable.
9. The way they look at each other when they sit outside later. And in the morning he takes her for a walk in 'Lapland' and promises to go to the real one sometime and there is kissing. KISSING!!!!
10. He finds out she's liked him since she was a kid, because he makes a joke like that and she replies 'how did you know?' and OMG he is so flabbergasted that it's the truth and OMG so adorable and yes, yes, you are worthy.
But of course, we find out she has malignant cancer at the end, though she doesn't know yet, and at the end, OMG, they are on the bus together (he was going to meet s friend for work by himself but she felt weird and wanted to come with) and she faints and OMG OMG.
And the preview killed me dead.
I don't care. She gets miracle cure and lives HEA.
