I finished this a while ago, and am not yet ready to rewatch it and I remembered that you do recaps of dramas and was so happy to see you wrote about this because this was my favorite episode in probably any series, US or foreign.

It hit every one of my drama kinks and was just so disgustingly angsty and full of regrets and anger and . . . ugh, it kills me. I love this episode so much, especially when Rain finds the voicemails and realizes what he's done and my favorite part is when he is just thumping his chest, over and over and over again.

And what he says to Mingu about why Mingu had to pick SMA. So so so ugh, sad.

Just every part of this episode and this series. You can feel all the emotions and damn, Bokgu must have had like 30 different extremely strong emotions going through him at once, regret, denial, love, revenge confusion, jealousy, it just boggles your mind.

This would be my number one favorite series ever, if not for the ending. But it magnified my admiration of SMA and cemented Rain's acting skills (the only other one I saw him in was Full House, and he was, I'm sorry, horrible).

Sorry for the rant. I just wanted to see what someone else wrote about ALTK and this brought back all my memories of the drama.

Yeah, this drama is one of my favorites but I cannot rewatch, it hurts too much. And yes, I liked Full House but there is no comparison between Rain there and here.

Don't apologize, I love long replies!
