A Love to Kill: someone, give me prozac! A boatload of it.

OMG, this is like Fanaa times 11 because he shouldn't and he is using her and he falls in love with her anyway. And then it's all too late and misery misery misery. OMG.

I stayed up until 6am watching through ep 11, and then went to bed only because I couldn't see. Partially because I was tired, and partially because I was bawling my eyes out like an idiot.

These eps took my heart, tore it into pieces and danced on the remains.

There is a lot I want to talk about in these (ep 11? Oh. My. God), but first off: such a horrible mess.

At the beginning of ep 10, they've run away, and even though it's all part of his plan, his feelings are genuine and he keeps flipping out. When he ditches her at the side of the road, in some ways it's a last ditch attempt to minimize hurt to her. But then he shows up with sneakers for her feet and a bandaid and puts it on her. I really do think ES is so glued to him when he comes back, because I would have smacked him and left him, because not only has she burned all her bridges for him, but she strikes me as someone who falls in love too totally. Because otherwise? Woman, he is a mess, can't you tell? But I love his stroking her hair and wiping her tears. OMG. Totally my kink. He is so torn throughout, but ironically, this is what makes his plan effective. She falls for him because she can tell the sincerity of his feelings.

And OMG, the almost sex scene! Where it's all part of his revenge plan but he wants her for real and he has to steel himself and he starts unbuttoning her shirt buttons very slowly and she is expectant and looks at him so openly and he keeps flashing back to all the things she's said to him and his hands just fall to the sides and he can't do it, and it's such a mix and mess of things.

And then her fiance gets Bokgu arrested on charges of kidnapping, and even though it would ruin her career and her life, she comes for him at the police station. And they go outside and reporters are snapping pictures and she just hugs him and OMG. And then they go bike riding, but yeah, enjoy the two angst free minutes because from then on, it makes one want to hit something. Because then, the have that confrontation in the car. Where he lets her sleep because he can't help but want to prolong the illusion that she is his and it's all real, and he tries to give her a last ditch way out by asking about Mingu. But she, misunderstanding that he is jealous and still bitter over what she thinks is Mingu's betrayal, gives absolutely the worst answer and their course is set.

And he breaks her heart and tells her that it's all over because she was such an easy mark and he didn't think she'd be so easy and that he got bored and 'you sow what you reap' and walks off. And I want to hit him so HARD. And I love how she just goes back to the car and keeps repeating to herself. 'It's all a dream. I just fell asleep and I'll wake up.'

And as he walks away from her, you can see him just crumble inside as well (he literally just stumbles and falls at one point, when someone bumps into him) and then we get that scene at his brother bedside, where he is just sobbing (I am actually impressed by how unpretty that crying is) and he is asking him 'There are so many women in this world. Half this world is made of women. Why did you have to fall in love with the most beautiful woman in the world?' And then he tells him he (Bokgu) has made a mistake and he shouldn't have met her, and shouldn't have pretended to fall in love with her, and shouldn't have fallen in love for real. So much angst. Oh, and him drinking booze the way I guzzle water? Emo and all, but the guy is going to kill his liver that way.

And then she finds him in the hospital (because she remembers about his brother) and finds out his real identity because he tells her and he tells her about the revenge thing and she is destroyed.

And I love how later he is walking outside, but he is hearing her crying in his head so he just puts his hands to his ears as the camera spins. His world is disintegrating.

And then of course, even though he thinks he is in the right, he has such doubts throughout, and he can't help his feelings anyway, and he keeps flashing to what she told him and then he finds the password to his brother's cell and listens to messages and finds out the truth, aka she was innocent. And the phone just falls from his fingers and...Ummm. Ummmm. Crying by me was involved. Because he looks like he's been damned.

And he goes looking for her everywhere and then finally, he gets to his brother's hospital room, dragging his steps and all, and she is in the room, with Mingu. And I just love how he sort of sprawls outside the room, not daring to go in, but also not wanting to, and his face just falls apart and he keeps slamming the wall, and in part it's because he feels guilty, and because he's fallen in love with her and she loved him and it was all true and he threw it away, but in part because he is such a mess because it's his brother but he can't help but be jealous. I think, even though she isn't trying to do that at all, he is going to be paid back a hundredfold for what he did to her.

He tries to get her fiance to go back to her, but fiance (who's finally wised up) says that no. He let it go. I think Bokgu is going to learn you can wreck a life a lot easier than fix it.

And I love the scene when she is stumbing in the rain and he suddenly materializes and holds an umbrella over her but she walks on as if he doesn't exist. And she isn't even doing it because she hates him (because she doesn't) but because she is in all that pain and she doesn't want to deal with hurt again, and parodoxically, I think in some ways he wants this, because that way it's as if he is recieving a deserved punishment. And then she walks into her apartment and sort of just falls over and he goes after her and he just holds her (as she is unconscious) and tells her he is sorry and can she please leave him and his brother alone and never come back, as he holds her tighter and tighter. Seriously Kleenex is making money off me with this. OMG! And she is muttering his nickname in her sleep, calling for him, because in sleep her guards are down and he just looks like someone hit him in the face. God, these two will need years and years of therapy!

And then of course he moves Mingu so she couldn't find him and she looks for Bokgu everywhere to tell her where Mingu is and spends all night on those steps (how much do I hate Da Jeong? Telling Bokgu she left, being a bitch to Eun Seuk, or telling ES 'love isn't a duty' (so why are you holding Bokgu hostage, precisely?)) And he realizes she is out there and carries her in. OMG. OMG. OMG.

There is NO way those two can live happily ever after. Not only does he feel much too guilty (he'd have to spend his whole life making it up to her) and there is the whole factor of his brother (for both of them) but even though she loves him, I don't think he could ever get her to trust him again.

WOE.

I am seriously crying just thinking of the eps.

korean, rain, doramas, a love to kill
