Anne Bishop and Monstar ep 4 (nope, nothing in common...)
Still am reading and loving book 3 of the Black Jewels trilogy. If nothing else, I am going to love these books for giving me a huge book crush (otherwise known as Daemon SaDiablo - yes, Ms. Bishop isn't subtle about naming).
1. I hate hate Jaenelle's awful biological family. I want them all dead. I did love Daemon's reaction to the blood splatter on the wall courtesy of Jaenelle's administering of justice, something to the effect of "shame about the wallpaper." Healed Daemon = most awesome thing ever.
2. You know, I was thinking that pairing "terrified of physical intimacy" Jaenelle and "has huge unworthiness issues and still mentally fragile" Daemon was going to get really angsty, really soon because they would totally exacerbate each other's issues. And it was, it was delicious.
3. Lucivar naming his son after Daemon = BIG AWWWWW. And no surprise that Daemon forgave Lucivar for his actions in book 2 in about 0.2 seconds.
4. "He's been used enough, don't you think?" Jaenelle said quietly in her midnight voice. "And I am not going to be the next in a long list of women who have forced him into physical intimacy." Aha, so that is why she's been staying away from him. That's kinda...awesome. But now go make out with him, lady, before he loses his mind.
5. Surreal and Jaenelle having a sex chat is one of the most frightening yet hilarious things ever. I can torally feel Surreal headdesking. Though it's just as well they are doing this, since between them, Daemon and Jaenelle have zero experiences with consensual sexual encounters. Oh, and I love the way Jaenelle first says she loves Daemon - it just comes up in conversation an very matter of fact.
6. Bwahahahaha "How in the name of Hell did two inexperienced lovers ever figure out how to do anything? Surreal wondered. Which made her think about how many things could go wrong once Daemon and Jaenelle got past kissing."
Just occurred to me - Daemon 'pleasured' (best word I can think of) Jaenelle's grandmother back in book 1. Ugh. He was forced into it so I don't blame him but I am still officially disturbed.
7. "Setting his hands lightly on her waist, he drew her close to him. "Kiss me again. Like this." He brushed his lips against hers, softly, delicately. "And this." He kissed the corner of her mouth. "And this." He kissed her throat."
I was dying here. Dying. Also, when he stops their make out because "I'd like my first time to be in a bed." Eeeeeeee!!!! Daemon/Jaenelle have rendered me nonverbal. But then of course, Daemon's first time nerves. I wonder if he or Jaenelle are going to faint first. :p
"He knew dozens upon dozens of ways to kiss, to caress, to arouse a woman and make her crave having him in her bed. He couldn't remember a single one."

"He smiled at the bitter irony of it, that the one thing he had never done with a woman, the one thing he had never wanted to do and now wanted more than anything, was the one thing he might not be able to do."
Oh, Daemon. And then they finally make love and it's freaking gorgeous and I am breaking my reading there because I just know things are going to go to hell now and I want to dwell on the happiness (though LOLing at everyone in the hall being 'they are making out everywhere, make it stop' afterwards).
Anyway, on to Monstar ep 4.

That was pretty much the cutest thing ever. Also, it’s official, I love Sun Woo.
