And he throws soy sauce at her (!!!! So much hate! Also, he is an utter idiot. He believes she is being 'sponsored' by the CEO of Artemis but he had to have seen that the CEO was smitten by her as our hero, Jean Thierry Cha, is absolutely awful at concealing any feelings. Did he think he was going to endear himself to a super-rich potential client by insulting his mistress?).
And Cha sees her outside and finds out from her what has happened - she was accused of being a high-class whore and soy sauce is from Tommy Hong, and you tell he is going to lose it. (Also, I loooooooove that she has no idea he is the CEO and keeps thinking he is a secretary).
I've rewatched this three times already! Slimy Tommy Hong is telling a rich jerk he'll find him another hooker when he gets soy sauce poured on him. It's our hero, who's returned to the party for that very purpose. EEEEEE! And then he punches him out. Double EEEEEEEEE!
Aldo, I totally love mentor-mentee relationship between heroine and secondary girl. It's deeply unusual. Oh, and the total reversal, with the hero being an idealistic romantic and heroine forced to become hardheaded golddigger, is delicious.
