Speaking of OTPs, the way Guan Yu treats Diao Chan (treating her as strong and smart but also letting her know he'd die to protect her when needed - and he means it). Mmmmm. No wonder she's slowly falling for him. How could she not? I love that he gives her the bead bracelet so she can scatter them if she's taken so he can follow. Seriously, OTP OTP OTP hits all my kinks.

Ooooh, I loved this bit. The writing threatens to kill half the taken students unless someone writes in their name and, Diao Chan being Diao Chan, writes her own when nobody is looking. In her quiet, ladylike way, she's incredibly tough. Also, OMG perfect shippy scene *hyperventilating*
Ummm, yeah. Kidnapping the girl Guan Yu is in love with is not the smartest move, evil dude. I think GY is about one step from hulking out and seeing he's the best fighter even without the extra stimulus...yeah. Someone will be sporting a large number of broken bones.
