Somebody, please talk me out of watching Mr Goodbye.
Please, I feel a deadly pull towards it. It's a 2006 kdrama about an icy executive who melts in the presence of a single mother and her moppet of a son. Icy men melting for single mothers = my favorite trope. Starring Ahn Jae Wook, my newest, insane crush.
'So what's the problem?' ask you. 'Go ahead, Mousie, enjoy yourself!'
NOT SO FAST.
Guess who has a horrible and terminal heart condition. Guess. Ummm, no, thank you. Not only is Ahn Jae Wook not allowed to die in my dramas, but the whole 'ohhh, see him find happiness, only to die. Did we mention that the poor single mother and her son get to be devastated all over again, after finding some happiness of their own and a lover/father figure?'
Why don't I just drive nails into my eye while I am at it.
And yet.
Ahn Jae Wook.
And just look at this MV - I just know this will be perfect.

Until the end comes and I will feel like eating my own head.
The dilemma.
Side note, the genre for Mr. Goodbye is labelled as 'romance/comedy' on drama wiki. Ahahaha. Koreans clearly have a unique definition of comedy.
But once I finish A Star In My Heart, if I want my AJW fix it's either between this or Goodbye My Love (which I started and I like but the heroine dies in that one!)
For God's Sake, Ahn Jae Wook! Make a flipping comedy one of these days, can't you? A proper comedy, not dramawiki's take on it.
ETA: Ooooooh, he was the lead in I Love You, the one about a couple with 14-yr-difference who have to get hitched because of a baby. Oooooh.
Poll So, what should Dangermousie do to sate her Ahn Jae Woook crush?
