Karei-Naru Ichizoku
Watched ep 4 of Karei-Naru Ichizoku and it's excellent, except for thje fact that every time I see the father or the mistress I want to climb into the TV and strangle them both with my bare hands.
Oh, and Teppei has such a yearning for parental love. You can see it in the interactions with his father-in-law.
But OMG, I decided to see how it ended and so ffed to last 10 minutes of last ep.
I was bawling. Even on mute and 2x (Mr. Mousie was in a nearby room and didn't want to be spoiled).
OMG Teppei. OMG. His last voiceover, about wanting his father to be proud of him, of seeing himself as a curse on the family.
UGH. I hate Manpyos. Hate.
And the old bastard realizing, as blood type test result (that was different from war time test where there were a lot of mistakes made), that Teppei WAS his son, not what he had always thought and UGH...I don't FUCKING care if you break down now, I want you to DIEDIEDIEDIEDIE.
You basically told your kid earlier, after you thoroughly dismantled his life and his dream, that you sometimes hope he didn't exist.
I HATE YOU HATE YOU HATE YOU HATE YOU.
And I haven't even seen eps 5 through most of 10.
Kimura Takuya is much too good at projecting pain.
