Open Borders

Went to Borders at the Curve in an attempt to find Popcorn Issue #3 which is supposedly out I think. But couldn't find it, heck, couldn't even back copies of the old one anywhere at all. So instead, splurged some money on Kashimashi Omnibus vol.1 and Runaways vol. 2.

Kashimashi a pretty interesting story. It's about Hazumu who confesses to Yasuna,a girl he likes, and she has a mutual crush on him. But Yasuna rejects him because she's into yuri well, not really, it's somewhat a bit more complicated than that, but for simplicity's sake let's just leave it at yuri. He buggers off to the mountain to cool off and an alien spaceship crashlands on him. The aliens try to fix him, but genderbend happens. Now that he's a she, Yasuna is quite befuddled because her dreams came true, yet she had already rejected him, I mean, her. Well, she gets her game on anyway, and this somehow triggers Hazumu's childhood friend Tomari's realization that she actually loves him her all along. So who will win Hazumu's affection, the gay Yasuna or the straight-but-dang-do-I-have-to-be-gay-for-my-true-love Tomari? Or will it be Di sana menanti, di sini menunggu? (LOL!) Plus, Hazumu realises since he's she's now a girl, should she still like girls (and thus be straight a lesbo), or should she start doting on guys instead (and be in a yaoi proper relationship)? Oh, alien-san and the spaceship also move into Hazumu's house to monitor him.

If that's not called writing a premise for a story, I dunno what is. -_-
