Progress smacks its head and does nothing

Sometimes I feel like I lack the motivation to do anything. My list just sits there.

I have been dabbling at editing a short story, and if I can adjust a few scenes, well, one scene, a few lines, I should be able top pick two short story mags and send off two stories in the next month or so.

Of course, Nanowrimo approaches, but we'll deal with that some other time.

www.nanowrimo.org or something. If you need to know.

I am steady with my physicality, in that, my clothes don't fit any better, but not any worse, either. Good for me! Stability is better than falling apart.

It is summer, so, a bit more time outside, and with a new house, it means a little bit more. I have a push mower now. I cut the lawn by pushing, and it will take some practice to learn the delicate ways of this "reel mower" I have.

It should help with exercise though :)

I am pst 2 months, and my list of Year 32 resolutions isn't doing much.

I need a swift kick and a running start, maybe off a cliff, so I can get super motivated.

it is summer and I am not wearing the cutest clothing I own. Why?

Oh yeah, I look a bit bulgy when I put them on.

I'd rather not plan for next summer, but let's face it. Shaping and toning and losing some body mass is not a quick project. It is healthiest when achieved through a combination of methods, over time.

So what's my excuse?

Maybe one day we'll find out.

I wish this were more exciting. It isn't today. Maybe my set up as shadowgirl_laur on myspace will fire me up a bit moe. Tune in there if you like.

Yes, blogging is addictive.
