Baking, Dye and Motorbiking!
So Derby last night was amazing as usual. Everyone's all excited about ARRG's victory against CCR on Sunday, but also super determined and focused to win again in May when they visit us to play in a bout! Happy days!
I hope I'm in the team this time. Should have been in Birmingham on wknd too but I was far too skint, what with moving into a new room/flat and bills etc. I am training super hard to make sure nothing lets me down. I should start jogging too but it scares me. Mel has a machine so might go visit her some time next week. She's coming around tonight for tea and a catch up. I missed her when she was away.
I biked to Glasgow today all by myself!! Through rush hour traffic and everything. My riding has improved ten fold since I've got the bike back. I think coming off a couple of times has gifted me with a greater respect for the machine.
The hall for the party is still irking me. They managed to knock 50 quid off, but we still weren't happy. Now we're being told we'll see how much we make on the night, which is slightly more reassuring, but only if we get the numbers through the door. We should, but then again nothing is certain right?!
Anyway, I'll try and relax a bit tonight with some wine and pampering. I need to dye my hair again for saturday and might even paint my nails! Not done that in an age :)
